Happy 100 days Joshua

Three months ago, our dear Chinese friends Hua and Zhihao had a baby boy whose English name is Joshua. Today he was 100 days old and, in Chinese tradition, this is a special occasion. So Vee and I suggested that we take the family to the Ceramics Cafe at Kew Green to make a special commemorative plate for Joshua.
We started with his hand prints; then we did his footprints; next we added his name and the date; then we did some decorative bits; and finally we all signed the back. The plate has now gone off to the factory to be fired. We hope that, when he is older, Joshua will enjoy this memento of when he became 100 days old.

How lovely for Joshua and your friends.
But also what a great idea for any child as a present – something that is yours exclusively.
    Good thought, you two.

Roger, still not sure how this works. Let me know if you get it.Thought I should let you know that some 5 (?) years after you suggested it we are now doing podcasts on CWU website. See Royal Mail dispute.
Incidentally we have an interim solution in the dispute agreed with Leighton and Crozier by Dave Ward and me yesterday.
