LibraryThing
If you love reading books, you might find this site fun.
Talking of libraries, as a schoolboy I used to borrow all the books I read and, as a student, I used to spend most of my time in the places. Since I finished at university, I’ve never been to a library.
I like to own all the books I read (or intend to read), partly so I can mark them up, partly so I can refer to them when I want, and partly because books just look so good.
What am I reading at the moment? “A Spot Of Bother”, a novel by Mark Haddon.

Hi Roger. Like you, I have great admiration for books. This has only come to surface since I left University a few years ago. Before, books seemed like something of a chore (especially at Uni). Now that I’ve left Uni I like to browse in book stores and read. I suppose you tend to like books if your parents also read books.

Modercai Richler for me – just discovered him. Broadsides is giving me a broad grin.
I do not keep books, I give them to my local library. The cut backs make it difficult for them to keep a good stock. They take paper backs as well. The ones they already have are passed on to the local hospital.
Others go to charity shops, which is where I came across Mordecai.

sharing books means sharing resources and to make the utmost of it…
