    Bystander, an anonymous English magistrate blogger, thinks the press reports are a little exaggerated; see Too Late, I’m Afraid, where he quotes a statement from the Judicial Communications Office; also check out the comments for a variety of opinions.

    Old media would never publish a clarification but, thanks to the blogosphere, Peter Openshaw is vindicated!
