How the polypill will save lives
There was a report this week of a new trial to test the so-called polypill which combats heart disease and strokes. This is good news and hopefully, within a few years, this pill will be on the market. It could make a real difference to millions of lives.
Two years ago, I participated in a much larger, international trail of a different version of the polypill and I was glad to do so. I blogged about the experience at the time and this was my last posting.

Arguably this is an attempt to move to a ‘one size fits all’ pill, rather than people taking say 4 different pills, slightly tweaked as to dosage according to their chloresterol or blood pressure levels etc.
