My wife the media star
My wife Vee, together with her twin sister Mari, has been away in the Czech Republic for the last week attending various events to mark the 70th anniversary of the Battle of Britain, a conflict in which their father the Czech Karel Kuttelwascher was a participant with the RAF’s No 1 Squadron.
There’s a report on a Czech site here. Vee is the one in the purple top. The guy with the microphone is the Czech President Vaclav Klaus. Vee presented him with a Czech edition of my biography of her father signed by KK’s two daughters.

It was a ceremonial evening – a tribute to Czechoslovak war flyers and a reminder of the Battle of Britain’s 70th anniversary.
