Reform of the British political system
The formation of a coalition government in Britain, between the Conservatives and the Liberal Democrats, looks likely to institute a major programme of constitutional and political reform.
As a result, I’ve revised my web site guide to the British political system and up-dated and expanded the section on reform.

Labour now claims to be the only progressive political party in the UK.
According to Labour all major progressive moves (e.g. minimum wage, equal gay rights etc) since the war have been championed by them.
But wasn’t privatisation the most progressive, liberating move of the last 50 years?

I thought ‘privatisation’ was in the words of a senior conservative at the time ‘ selling off the family silver’.
Time has not made me change my mind.
