Our new home?
I was brought up by a single parent in one privately-rented place after another in Manchester and I would happily never move house again. In fact, we have lived in our present home in Sudbury Hill for 22 years and done a lot to improve it, so I have no wish whatsoever to move.
But my wife Vee loves looking at property advertisements in the local newspaper and property programmes on television (and there are certainly plenty of those these days). For around 30 years, there has been one local property that she has always especially admired and it is suddenly on the market. You can check it out here.
But, no – we’re not going to move. And the price is not the only reason. But, if you decide to buy, do invite us round for a cup of tea.

Beautiful house, I might think about it (and dream about it). What happened to the house prices in England? Our friends live in Epping, their house is 30 x much worth as when they bought it 30 years ago.
