The rise and rise and rise of CO2 in our atmosphere (1)

Levels of carbon dioxide (CO2) in our atmosphere have been rising inexorably for the last two hundred years. At the start of the industrial revolution, CO2 was around 280 parts per million (ppm) of the atmosphere.

Sometime in the next few weeks, that level could pass the 400 ppm mark – see report here. Global warming and the resultant climate change will have devastating effects on every person on the planet and on generations to come.

We have to act to slow down the growth, halt it, and then reverse it which will take massive efforts by governments, corporations and individuals. The future of humankind depends on it.

    100% agree!

And, the average consuming of material and energy per capital is far too high nowadays!

Save energy! Reduce consumption! (before it is too late!)
