The latest photo of my granddaughter Catrin
I know that regular visitors to NightHawk enjoy receiving updates on my granddaughter Catrin whom I try to see each week, so here is a new photograph of her taken this week.
She’s wearing a jacket that I bought for her in Helsinki at an open air stall staffed by the Peruvian woman who knitted the jacket. I chose a size for the jacket that was larger than Catrin at the time (last summer), but she is growing so fast that she is already wearing it – together with that impish smile.

Yes, she’s definitely a little girl now and baby no longer. That’s a lovely jacket. What a thoughtful Grandpa!

Great photo, she will be a lucky little girl after your trip to Australia, lots of goodies to buy here it is just a shame they are usually made in China. Your outback journey will be great and that is where you will get truly Australian gifts. Not long now have a great time and looking forward to your blogs. Regards Trish & Gavin xo
