I have seen the future
I bought the iPod; I was one of the first UK purchasers of the iPhone; and I’ve always known that I would buy the latest Apple product the iPad. But I wanted to play with one first and then treat myself for my birthday next month. Sometimes delayed gratification is good for the soul ….
Last night, I visited my good friend and IT guru Eric, partly to enjoy his company and partly to try out his iPad. Like the geek he is, he took delivery of his iPad the afternoon before the official UK launch yesterday so that, by the time I saw him, he had already had the tablet computer for over 24 hours.
It’s incredibly beautiful, it’s amazingly functional, and I have to have one.
