Top 25 destinations in the world

I love travelling and have visited a total of 56 countries as you’ll see here. So I was interested to see that the web site Trip Adviser has produced a list of the top 25 destinations in the world here.

Number one is the city in which I live and work: London. In fact, I have been to all of the top 10 locations. Of the full 25, I’ve seen 18. But there are still so many places I want to visit.

What about you? Seen them all? Think some other places should be in the top 25?

    Hello Roger

All those countries and you’ve never been to Australia or New Zealand! I see Sydney is in the top 25, so maybe that should be next on your list? Though I have to admit the long-haul flights are very unpleasant.

    Cheers

Nadine (Brisbane, not in the top 25!)

    Hi, Nadine.

I know, I know … I’ve wanted to visit Australia and New Zealand for many years, but various domestic and work complications have not enabled me to get away for the time that would be necessary. But I am determined to do it!

    Thanks for the encouragement

    Hi, Alex.

The Queen has certain advantages over me – like not paying for her trips out of her own resources and not having work commitments that make leaving the UK for some time a problem.

But I have been to places that the Queen has not visited – like Syria, Uzbekistan, Bolivia, Peru …
