What I love about my iPhone
It’s a week now since I bought my new iPhone. I still have a lot to learn about it, but already it is a sheer joy to own for the following reasons:
- It is a wonderfully elegant design and very small and light considering what it does.
- It powers up much quicker than my previous phone a Nokia N80.
- The user interface is very user-friendly and intuitive.
- I don’t need a stylus to input text as with my Palm Tungsten T3 PDA.
- The virtual keyboard has letters much larger than my old mobile or PDA.
- I can access the Internet as much as I want for no cost above the monthly subscription.
- The screen – which can be used portrait or landscape – is large enough to make web pages readable.
- By ‘pinching’ the screen, one can easily magnify text.
- I can find any place in the UK on a map.
- I can find satellite pictures of any location in the UK.
- I can instantly obtain a seven-day weather forecast.
- It is a great talking point at meetings and dinner parties.

Makes me wonder if you’re on Apple’s payroll.

Roger, it’s more than a just talking point. It’s a major sexual attraction. I bought one for my wife. Previously, she had been chased by German guys, now she needs to run away from women, too.

Well, Alexei, I haven’t experienced this particular benefit yet – but I live in hope.
