How many texts do you send each day?

According to this story, a typical UK mobile phone user sends 10 texts a day. It seems that many people use their mobile more to send texts and e-mails than to make calls.

I send fewer texts than the average but I’m typical in sending more texts and e-mails from my mobile than making calls from it. What about you?

    Checking my last two month’s itemised bills, I find that I make on average 1.6 mobile phone calls per day compared to 1.0 texts per day.

    Don’t ask me how many emails I send per day!

    I find myself sending more and more texts. I think it has to do with me wanting to convey something, or ask a question, without having to devote 5 mins to calling that individual. Impersonal, but there you go.
