A new cafe on the Hill

I’m a great frequenter of cafes and have many favourites in the centre of London which I visit between meetings. When it comes to closer to home, I don’t go to cafes as much as to restaurants, but today I made an exception and I’m glad I did.
We live at the foot of historic Harrow-on-the-Hill and last September a new cafe opened there called “The Doll’s House On The Hill”. On a beautiful spring day, Vee and I went there for the first time and really enjoyed it.
We took for lunch five visitors: Vee’s nephew Martin, his wife Isobel, their baby Yasmin (15 months old), and our Chinese friends Zhihao and Hua (due to give birth in three weeks). The house is delightful, the food delicious and the service friendly. A great discovery.
