The world’s 10 greatest attractions
Any such selection must be subjective, but readers of the “Guardian” have voted for this list of the world’s top ten overseas locations.
I’ve been very fortunate in my life and been able to do lots of travel, so I’ve been to eight of the ten places in the list. You can see my notes on a number of them here.
The two attractions on the “Guardian” list that I haven’t seen are both in Australia. I’m determined to visit Australia and New Zealand in the next few years, perhaps in 2012 to mark our 30th wedding anniversary, but my wife insists that this is subject to the death from old age of our cat that is currently 88 in human terms and still going strong.
