What are the tallest buildings in London?

Until the 1960s, London – although essentially the capital of the world – had no skyscrapers, but the skyline is now changing rapidly and, even for someone like me who lives and works in the city, it’s hard to keep up.

This was brought home to me recently when I attended a meeting on the 32nd floor of the Broadgate Tower.  I confess than I was previously unaware of the building but found that it is now the fifth tallest in London. It was only completed last year and stands at  538 feet (164 metres).

Do you know the five tallest buildings in London? There’s a brief description here.

But the skyline will continue to change with the ‘shard of glass’ preaching up an incredible  1,017 feet or 310 metres
