    So does that mean it’s always noon at the South Pole? And if so, how do the scientists stationed there know when it’s lunchtime?

    Slightly more seriously, as someone who is still recovering from jet lag after a flight from Tashkent to London, I should point out that chronological time and body time are not always the same!
