Almost from the beginning of this web site, I've had a section which carries the greeting "Good morning" in lots of languages. This was my gesture towards the global nature of the Internet.
The section has proved remarkably popular and I regularly receive e-mails from around the world complimenting me on it and often asking for other phrases in multiple languages - but this is not a language site.
Nevertheless, I decided to mark one Valentine's Day by creating this section with the phrase "I love you" in many languages. After all, there can be few short collections of words that are so powerful and meaningful. So, as you travel round the world or meet people from various countries in your own nation, try out these translations and someone somewhere might respond in kind. However, I accept no liability for the reaction.
I hope that below you will find the greeting "I love you” in all the languages you are seeking. If you can add to the compilation, please e-mail me, advise me how to say "I love you”" in another language, and I’'ll add it to this page.
