Vee’s retirement today
My wife Vee finally retires today from her position as PA to the Head of Human Resources at Harrow College, a further education establishment close to where we live. Vee has now done more than six years at the College and could have retired two and a half years ago.
She has timed her retirement to maximise her pension and to give her the mximum time in the garden for the first six months. Technically I took early retirement five years ago, but I’ve been fortunate enough to carve out a new career as a portfolio worker. I work from home quite a lot and it will be good to have Vee around.
