He was speaking about his latest book which is called <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bbk.ac.uk\/hca\/staff\/franktrentmann\/FreeTradeNation\">&#8220;Free Trade Nation: Consumption, Civil Society and Commerce in Modern Britain&#8221;<\/a>.<br \/>\nThe Treasury officials there seemed to love it &#8211; but I had no idea what the relevance was today&#8217;s economic challenges. It was one of those events where I understood each word; I just couldn&#8217;t make much sense of the sentences that they made up.
