Can&#8217;t be.<br \/>\nTo start with, there&#8217;s the 50 states. Some have caucuses; some have primaries. Some have closed primaries; some have open primaries; and some have systems in between.<br \/>\nYou can find a summary of the 2008 schedule <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Primary_election#Primary_systems_state-by-state\">here<\/a>.<br \/>\nIt makes for incredibly complicated campaigns and one needs some sophisticated commentators to made sense of it all.
