I pointed that, following support at a critical time from the then President of the Nigeria, Negroponte decided that the laptop would bear that country&#8217;s national colours of green and white.<br \/>\nBut that was then and this is now. It is <a href=\"http:\/\/news.bbc.co.uk\/1\/hi\/technology\/7094695.stm\">reported<\/a> that the new Government of Nigeria does not seem to have the same enthusiasm for the project. Indeed a spokesman for the project is claiming that a lack of &#8220;big thinking&#8221; by politicians has stifled the scheme.
