It sounds incredible and it will boost the confidence of people I know who claim to be healers, but I argue in my essay <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rogerdarlington.me.uk\/truth.html\">&#8220;The Reason For Truth&#8221;<\/a> that one should be guided by the evidence and there is scientific evidence for this in the current (sorry for the pun) issue of &#8220;Nature magazine as you can read <a href=\"http:\/\/www.guardian.co.uk\/medicine\/story\/0,,1830985,00.html\">here<\/a>.<br \/>\nAlso amazing is that the role of electricity in wound healing was first discovered in the mid-1800s by the German physiologist <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Emil_du_Bois-Reymond\">Emil Du Bois-Reymond<\/a> who cut his arm and measured the electrical field across the wound.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It seems that electric fields can speed the healing of cuts and grazes.
