As a result, I was a guest at a meal hosted by BT and held in the Media Centre of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lords.org\/latest-news\/top-stories\/\">Lords Cricket Ground<\/a> in north London. This provides stunning views of the cricket field. There were just a few problems:<br \/>\na) It was nighttime so one could barely see the field.<br \/>\nb) It&#8217;s winter so there&#8217;s no playing there anyway.<br \/>\nc) I&#8217;m an atypical male with no interest in sports.<br \/>\nBut it&#8217;s an impressive building &#8211; and the meal wasn&#8217;t bad.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Yesterday I attended a conference on telecommunications regulation organised by the London Business School.
