{"id":6530,"date":"2011-08-27T22:28:08","date_gmt":"2011-08-27T21:28:08","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.rogerdarlington.me.uk\/nighthawk\/?p=6530"},"modified":"2011-08-28T10:14:51","modified_gmt":"2011-08-28T09:14:51","slug":"catrins-visit-to-wagamama","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.rogerdarlington.me.uk\/nighthawk\/?p=6530","title":{"rendered":"Catrin&#8217;s visit to Wagamama"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Today I indulged in one of my favourite activities: spending time with my gorgeous granddaughter Catrin (now seven and a half months).<\/p>\n<p>I was supposed to be babysitting this evening so that her mum &amp; dad could go out and visit friends, but I was advised early in the day that she had her first cold, she had slept badly, and mum &amp; dad would not therefore be going out this evening. But I was invited to spend some time with Catrin and parents in the afternoon.<\/p>\n<p>In spite of her cold, Catrin was in good spirits and gurgling happily. When we went out, we managed to dodge the showers and for the first time I carried Catrin in the sling with her facing out to the world.<\/p>\n<p>We went for some lunch to a branch of Wagamama on London&#8217;s South Bank and Catrin had the odd noodle. Back at the flat, I read stories to Catrin before her dad gave her a bath (her favourite time of the day).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.rogerdarlington.me.uk\/waga1.jpg\" border=\"3\" alt=\"\" \/><br \/>\n<span>&#8220;Remind me again &#8211; <br \/>what are these child chopsticks for exactly?&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.rogerdarlington.me.uk\/waga2.jpg\" border=\"3\" alt=\"\" \/><br \/>\n<span>&#8220;I wonder why it&#8217;s called Wagamama <br \/>and not Wagadada?&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.rogerdarlington.me.uk\/waga3.jpg\" border=\"3\" alt=\"\" \/><br \/>\n<span>&#8220;I love it when granddad reads to me.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Today I indulged in one of my favourite activities: spending time with my gorgeous granddaughter Catrin (now seven and a half months).
