So how big is the universe?<br \/>\nIn his book &#8220;A Briefer History Of Time&#8221; [my review <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rogerdarlington.me.uk\/science.html#BHT\">here<\/a>], Stephen Hawking tells us that the size of the observable universe is a million million million million miles.
