He talks immense sense and is not afraid to challenge arrant nonsense. In January 2006, I watched his television programmes entitled &#8220;The Root Of All Evil?&#8221; when he attacked the falsity of religious belief [my blog posting <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rogerdarlington.co.uk\/nighthawk-static\/permalink.php?id=2342_0_1_0_C\">here<\/a>]. More recently, I read his book &#8220;The God Delusion&#8221; [my review <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rogerdarlington.me.uk\/science.html#TGD\">here<\/a>].<br \/>\nSo this evening I really enjoyed the first of the two-part series on Channel Four television entitled <a href=\"http:\/\/www.channel4.com\/culture\/microsites\/E\/enemies_of_reason\/\">&#8220;Enemies Of Reason&#8221;<\/a>. In this programme, he demolished the causes of such pseudo-science as astrology, card reading, clairvoyance and dowsing.
