BT\u2019s Home IT advisors are supposed to be trained to cope with anything that is thrown at them and a recent survey reveals some IT issues that have left BT\u2019s specialist advice team scratching their heads. Some of the calls from customers may raise a smile, but I guess what they highlight is a demand for a service like BT Home IT Advisor.

\nCustomer: I can\u2019t find the \u2018Any\u2019 key.
\no Customer: I keep getting inappropriate pop-ups on my computer and don\u2019t want my wife to think that it\u2019s me.
\nAdvisor: I will remove them for you.
\nCustomer: How do I get them back when she is not in?
\no Customer: I met a man on the internet, can you give me his phone number?
\no Advisor: You have spyware on your machine which is causing the problem.
\nCustomer: Spyware? Can they see me getting dressed through the monitor?
\no Advisor: Can you click on \u2018My Computer\u2019?
\nCustomer: I don\u2019t have your computer, just mine.
\no Customer: My 14 year-old son has put a password on my computer and I can\u2019t get in.
