But the BBC <a href=\"http:\/\/news.bbc.co.uk\/1\/hi\/uk_politics\/6385285.stm\"\">on-line report<\/a> of this event has no link to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.michaelmeacher.info\/\">his blog<\/a> and, when you go to the blog, at the time of this posting there is no mention of the declaration!<br \/>\nIn fact, Meacher will be lucky to find the 44 nominations he needs and there is no way that he &#8211; or anyone else &#8211; is going to stop Brown taking the crown that he has coveted for a decade. But a contest would be good for Brown and the party and for us.
