Each afternoon, a member of staff gives a short talk on one of the exhibits and, on my visit, I heard an explanation of the statue of Ganesha.<br \/>\nHe is one of the many Hindu representations of God and especially memorable for his elephant features. As the speaker explained, every detail of a statue of Ganesha is deeply symbolic, each part of his body and the content of each of his four hands meaning something important.
