{"id":2929,"date":"2010-07-02T08:30:57","date_gmt":"2010-07-02T07:30:57","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.rogerdarlington.me.uk\/nighthawk\/?p=2929"},"modified":"2010-07-02T08:36:20","modified_gmt":"2010-07-02T07:36:20","slug":"what-are-the-tallest-buildings-in-london","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.rogerdarlington.me.uk\/nighthawk\/?p=2929","title":{"rendered":"What are the tallest buildings in London?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Until the 1960s, London &#8211; although essentially the capital of the world &#8211; had no skyscrapers, but the skyline is now changing rapidly and, even for someone like me who lives and works in the city, it&#8217;s hard to keep up.<\/p>\n<p>This was brought home to me recently when I attended a meeting on the 32nd floor of the <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Broadgate_Tower\">Broadgate Tower<\/a>.\u00a0 I confess than I was previously unaware of the building but found that it is now the fifth tallest in London. It was only completed last year and stands at\u00a0 538 feet (164 metres).<\/p>\n<p>Do you know the five tallest buildings in London?
