The story leaked over the weekend and so I&#8217;ve done a number of radio interview this week on the subject of behalf of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.postwatch.co.uk\/\">Postwatch<\/a>. Altogether I&#8217;ve done five interviews, making a total of 40 radio and television interviews that I&#8217;ve done for Postwatch since I joined the organisation eight months ago.<br \/>\nIn fact, we were expecting much more media interest today &#8211; after all, a few weeks ago a petition with 4 million signatures protesting against post office closures was delivered to the Prime Minister. However, the Government statement on the closure programme has coincided with the report on Princess Diana&#8217;s death which is of much more interest to the media.<br \/>\nApparently, following a three-year investigation, <a href=\"http:\/\/news.bbc.co.uk\/1\/hi\/uk\/6179429.stm\">the Stevens enquity<\/a> has concluded that the death was an accident.
