Months ago, Mari suggested to the Club that I speak about their father, who was a night fighter ace in the Second World War, since I wrote a biography of him which was published in 1985.<\/p>\n<p>Last night, I gave my speech which was very well-received and gave rise to a lot of questions from an audience of 35.\u00a0 I spoke from notes but I drew upon two sections of my web site, one specifically on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rogerdarlington.me.uk\/nighthawk.html\">Flight Lieutenant Karel Kuttelwascher<\/a> and one on the role of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rogerdarlington.me.uk\/czechsinraf.html\">Czechoslovaks in the wartime Royal Air Force<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>My wife Vee is a twin and her twin sister Mari is a member of the Bognor Hotham Rotary Club.
