The trouble is that Cabinet ministers are totally divided on the best way forward.<\/p>\n<p>The conclusion of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/politics\/2018\/jul\/05\/theresa-may-battles-to-see-off-revolt-ahead-of-key-brexit-summit\">a piece<\/a> on the Chequers meeting in today&#8217;s &#8220;Guardian&#8221; newspaper points out:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;There has been speculation that the Chequers summit could could be marred by cabinet resignations.
