It&#8217;s a wonderful concept that has been defined as follows:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\">&#8220;Pared down to its barest essence, wabi-sabi is the \t\tJapanese art of finding beauty in imperfection and profundity in  nature, of \t\taccepting the natural cycle of growth, decay, and death. It&#8217;s simple,  slow, and \t\tuncluttered-and it reveres authenticity above all. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\">Wabi-sabi is flea  markets, \t\tnot warehouse stores; aged wood, not Pergo; rice paper, not glass. It \t\tcelebrates cracks and crevices and all the other marks that time,  weather, and \t\tloving use leave behind. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\">It reminds us that we are all but transient  beings on \t\tthis planet-that our bodies as well as the material world around us  are in the \t\tprocess of returning to the dust from which we came.
