In <a href=\"http:\/\/arts.guardian.co.uk\/news\/story\/0,,1962328,00.html\">a &#8220;Guardian&#8221; article<\/a> marking the fifth anniversary of the policy, it is reported that admissions have risen by an average of 83% over the period.<br \/>\nIn London where I live, the Victoria &#038; Albert Museum has experienced a 122% rise, the Natural History Museum has seen a 112% increase, and the Science Museum an 81% rise. Whenever I go abroad, I vist local museums and galleries and often &#8211; as on my recent visits to Paris &#8211; the cost can be really high.<br \/>\nMy favourite museum in London is the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.vam.ac.uk\/\">Victoria &#038; Albert Museum<\/a> and my favourite museum in the world is the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nasm.si.edu\/\">National Air &#038; Space Museum<\/a> in Washington.
