This one was with my sister Silvia. The weather was not so good &#8211; rain and wind &#8211; but we still saw a lot and had fun.<br \/>\nAgain I visited the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tour-eiffel.fr\/teiffel\/uk\/\">Eiffel Tower<\/a> but again we could only go to the second stage because of the strong wind. Again I visited <a href=\"http:\/\/www.paris.org\/Monuments\/NDame\/\">Notre Dame Cathedral<\/a> and this time we were also able to get to the <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Sainte-Chapelle\">Sainte-Chapelle<\/a> with its magnificant stained glass windows.<br \/>\nAgain I went to the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.louvre.fr\/llv\/commun\/home_flash.jsp?bmLocale=en\">Louvre<\/a> but this time we looked at a few new things. Again I went to the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.musee-orsay.fr\/ORSAY\/orsaygb\/HTML.NSF\/By+Filename\/mosimple+index?OpenDocument\">Musee D&#8217;Orsay<\/a> but this time it was open so we were able to view the splendid French Impressionist paintings.<br \/>\nThis morning, while Silvia went to mass, I strolled up to the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sacre-coeur-montmartre.com\/us\/index.html\">Sacre Coeur<\/a> and around the Place du Tertre.<br \/>\n<P><br \/>\n<CENTER><IMG SRC=\"http:\/\/www.rogerdarlington.me.uk\/Paris.jpg\"BORDER=3><BR><font size=\"-2\">The Sacre Coeur this morning<\/font><\/CENTER><br \/>\n<P><br \/>\nIn the three evenings that we were there, we ate French, Italian and Indian and we saw three films: &#8220;Casino Royale&#8221; [my review <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rogerdarlington.me.uk\/FilmsA-C.html#CR\">here<\/a>], &#8220;Scoop&#8221; [my review <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rogerdarlington.me.uk\/FilmsN-S.html#Scoop\">here<\/a>] and &#8220;Shortbus&#8221; [my review <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rogerdarlington.me.uk\/FilmsN-S.html#Shortbus\">here<\/a>].<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;ve just returned from my second weekend in Paris in five weeks.
