{"id":20528,"date":"2016-10-24T07:48:20","date_gmt":"2016-10-24T06:48:20","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.rogerdarlington.me.uk\/nighthawk\/?p=20528"},"modified":"2016-10-24T07:48:20","modified_gmt":"2016-10-24T06:48:20","slug":"five-consecutive-nights-five-different-beds","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.rogerdarlington.me.uk\/nighthawk\/?p=20528","title":{"rendered":"Five consecutive nights, five different beds"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>It&#8217;s been a crazy few days in which I&#8217;ve taken a few moments in the morning to work out where I am, since I have spent five consecutive nights in five different locations:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>On Wednesday night, I was at a place called Sanctuary Farm at the foot of Lake Naivasha about two hours drive out of Nairobi. I took my elder granddaughter Catrin (aged almost six) and went to sleep shortly after putting her to bed in our shared room.<\/li>\n<li>On Thursday night, I slept at the home of my son, daughter-in-law and granddaughters in Nairobi.<\/li>\n<li>On Friday night, I was on an overnight flight from Nairobi to London. I managed a few hours sleep but it&#8217;s hard for someone as tall as me to stretch out in economy class.<\/li>\n<li>On Saturday night, I stayed in a Travel Lodge in Crystal Palace, south London, having attended a wedding reception for a my nephew and his bride.
