However, I was invited to revisit my doubts during a recent <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rogerdarlington.me.uk\/nighthawk\/2006\/10\/impressions_of_paris.html\">long weekend in Paris<\/a> when I met a Canadian scientist by the name of Dr Norman Arrison who happened to be staying at the same hotel.<br \/>\nNorman insisted to me that the experiments of the scientists Martin Fleischmann and Stanley Pons had been replicated and that cold fusion is a scientifically valid hypothesis that will ultimately transform the production of energy in our fossil fuel-starved world.
