{"id":16205,"date":"2014-11-27T16:49:18","date_gmt":"2014-11-27T15:49:18","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.rogerdarlington.me.uk\/nighthawk\/?p=16205"},"modified":"2014-11-27T20:09:00","modified_gmt":"2014-11-27T19:09:00","slug":"another-visit-to-beautiful-prague","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.rogerdarlington.me.uk\/nighthawk\/?p=16205","title":{"rendered":"Another visit to beautiful Prague"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In the late 1980s, Vee (whose father was <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rogerdarlington.me.uk\/nighthawk.html\">a Czech pilot in the war<\/a>) re-established contact with her family &#8211; the Kuttelwaschers &#8211; in what was then Czechoslovakia and, about the same time, we first met <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rogerdarlington.me.uk\/In-Memoriam.html#Pavel\">the Czech doctor Pavel<\/a> whose wife and children &#8211; the Horvaths &#8211; became as close as family to us.<\/p>\n<p>Since then, we have visited what is now the Czech Republic about once a year. We are \u00a0travelling to Prague for a long weekend on what is my 25th trip and is Vee&#8217;s 23rd. The impetus for this particular visit is to see the newest member of the Horvath family who was born since our last trip about a year and a half ago.
