This and other falsehoods are answered <a href=\"http:\/\/www.guardian.co.uk\/society\/2009\/aug\/11\/nhs-sick-healthcare-reform\">here<\/a>.<br \/>\nFor the record, the UK spends less per head on health care but has a higher life expectancy than the US.
