However, I did a short live interview this morning for BBC Radio Somerset.<br \/>\nThe issue was the regulation of the Internet, a topic on which I have pronounced <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rogerdarlington.me.uk\/Internetregulation.html\">here<\/a>.  A group on Facebook has been encouraging people to fish in an area of Bridgewater where it is not allowed. Also a local party advertised on Facebook was shut down purely on the basis of comments posted by kids responding which stated that they \u2018couldn\u2019t wait to get drunk\u2019.<br \/>\nRegulation of the Internet is not really within the remit of either Consumer Focus or the Communications Consumer Panel &#8211; the two bodies on which I currently sit &#8211; so I spoke to the BBC in a personal capacity and amusingly was billed as &#8220;an Internet expert&#8221;.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Since the last day of Postwatch when I did three media interviews (see my blog posting here), I&#8217;ve not done any media interviews (Consumer Focus staff take them for the organisation).
