Most of the children were two or three years old and several found the old man so scary that they burst into tears.<\/p>\n<p>But most of the children found Father Christmas a magical figure and loved having their photograph taken with him by very proud and loving parents. Father Christmas loved it too even if he couldn&#8217;t eat or drink for a couple of hours because of the costume.<\/p>\n<p>Amazingly Catrin did not recognise Father Christmas. At first, she was shy with him, but she kept coming back to look at him and then she wanted to sit next to him all the time. Somehow there was a bond &#8211; or it might just have been that she wanted more presents.<\/p>\n<p><center><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/www.rogerdarlington.me.uk\/FCX.jpg\" border=\"3\" \/><br \/>\n<span>Catrin is not sure about this strange man<br \/>\nso she needs mummy to be on hand<\/span><\/center>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><center><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/www.rogerdarlington.me.uk\/FC.jpg\" border=\"3\" \/><br \/>\n<span>Catrin still does not know that this Father Christmas<br \/>\nis actually her granddad in full costume and make up<\/span><\/center><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Today it was the Christmas Bazaar at my granddaughter&#8217;s nursery and guess who they persuaded to be Father Christmas.
