Not immediately but perhaps in the spring. Not to Baghdad but to the Kurdish north.<\/p>\n<p>So today I was at the House of Commons to see my friend Gary Kent who is the Administrator of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.appgkurdistan.org.uk\">All-Party Parliamentary Group on the Kurdistan Region in Iraq<\/a> and has been to Iraq 12 times.<\/p>\n<p>By chance, he was able to introduce me to the only Member of Parliament with a Kurdish background. <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Nadhim_Zahawi\">Nadhim Zawawi<\/a>, who is Conservative MP for Stratford-upon-Avon and Co-Chair of the All-Party Group, was born in Baghdad to Kurdish parents who fled Iraq during Saddam Hussein&#8217;s rise to power.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;m thinking of taking a holiday in Iraq.
