They live close to the city centre so, after a home-made Chinese lunch, we walked around to Oxford Castle where we found a photographic exhibition called <a href=\"http:\/\/www.earthfromtheair.com\">&#8220;Earth from the Air&#8221;<\/a>.<br \/>\nNow, five years ago, I saw this exhibition at the Natural History Museum in London and I blogged about it <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rogerdarlington.co.uk\/nighthawk-static\/permalink.php?id=141_0_1_0_C\">here<\/a>. Since then, the photographs have been all around the country and the Oxford exhibition opened this week and will run to January 2009.<br \/>\nThe work consists of some 120 pictures shot by the French photographer <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Yann_Arthus-Bertrand\">Yann Arthus-Bertrand<\/a>. They are a stunning collection of photos and present a powerful ecological message.
