{"id":1031,"date":"2008-07-28T21:22:27","date_gmt":"2008-07-28T20:22:27","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.rogerdarlington.me.uk\/wordpress\/?p=1031"},"modified":"2008-07-28T21:22:27","modified_gmt":"2008-07-28T20:22:27","slug":"randy-pauschs-last-lecture-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.rogerdarlington.me.uk\/nighthawk\/?p=1031","title":{"rendered":"Randy Pausch&#8217;s last lecture"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Just over three months ago, I did <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rogerdarlington.me.uk\/nighthawk\/2008\/04\/raddy_pauschs_last_lecture.html\">a posting<\/a> about the Last Lecture given by Randy Pausch, a Professor of Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, United States who had been diagnosed with metastatic pancreatic cancer and told that he had months to live.<br \/>\nSadly a few days ago, he died and today there was <a href=\"http:\/\/www.guardian.co.uk\/science\/2008\/jul\/28\/psychology.healthandwellbeing\">an obituary<\/a> in the &#8220;Guardian&#8221; newspaper.
