My card index of films viewed now stands at 2.143 and I&#8217;ve reviewed lots of the more recent movies <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rogerdarlington.me.uk\/2010\/filmreviews.shtml\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>My all-time favourite film is <em>&#8220;Lawrence Of Arabia&#8221;<\/em> which I have reviewed <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rogerdarlington.me.uk\/clfilms.html#Lawrence\">here<\/a>. I first saw it when I was 14 on its release in 1963 and to date I have seen it a total of 10 times.<\/p>\n<p>But my cinema buddy Spence &#8211; a 39 year old who goes to the cinema far more often than me &#8211; has never seen it. So I&#8217;ve invited him to a 50th anniversary showing at the &#8220;Empire&#8221; in London&#8217;s Leicester Square&#8221; this afternoon.
