Who we are

Georgeanne Lamont: MD SpiritWorks Ltd and Lead Trainer

The founder and Managing Director of SpiritWorks, Georgeanne Lamont, has over 20 years experience of providing transformational training. She developed global awareness training through the eighties and set up 'Values and Visions' in 1989. This pioneered spiritual and global awareness training in organizations. The work, published in 1995 by Hodder & Stoughton, is used internationally. She researched spirituality in business within SMEs and multi-nationals to demonstrate how business can be both soul-friendly and successful. Her latest book, 'The Spirited Business', brings this research and her insights to the UK public.

Graham Johnson: Founding Director of SpiritWorks and Lead Trainer

Over the last 25 years he has worked with, and been committed to people who are significantly disadvantaged within our society. As a professional community worker, a senior manager and more latterly an independent trainer and facilitator, Graham has an extensive experience of human and organizational learning. He is dedicated to the empowerment of individuals, making the 'learn to learn' process accessible to all. He advocates that, to create effective team, community, and organizational spirit, people need to be given the opportunity to be the very best they can be.

"The two day SpiritWorks "Competent Practitioners" course for me was like an oasis in the desert of life in an "Not So Spirited Workplace". It was such a joy to be with likeminded people and to share dreams, values and visions we all had. Everyone was very supportive. There were three people from SpiritWorks and seven participants like myself eager to learn the secrets of transforming the workplace into a enriching and spiritual landscape. The SpritWorks team had put all their philosophy into practice and created a wonderful environment which felt very personal to me and I know that other participants felt the same way.
It was also a place to speak your truth, face your fears and awaken your spirit. I'd read Georgeanne's book "The Spirited Business" and had been inspired but it hadn't prepared me for the powerful experience this course gave me. There were tears and laughter in copious amounts over the two days which came to an end too soon, but left me feeling full of enthusiasm and optimism for the next steps in my own development.

Working out of a basis of values and visions provides the stability and permanence that support people through constant change.
